blythmrk
I would like to know your opinions on which cat back exhaust I should run on my black Uk tt6 it’s completly stock apart from the cat back system (I do have the stock system but quite like the look of a nice stainless back box) I have both a HKS Super Dragger or a Blitz Nurspec without the baffle also I know they will not be deafening because of the cats but which would be louder? nigelboyne
I have hks hi power silent t's ridiculously loud, if I was doing it again I'd get something twin piped or quad pipe both sides and baffles.

Thank you for your reply am I correct you are running 1st and 2nd decat as it will be loud then. It’s about the look too for me the hks super dragger back box looks so right but the blitz is seems far superior in build quality especially as it’s all stainless. Both these systems are a single pipe I think the na nurspec system is a twin pipe/box system.
Frank Bullitt
First decat and mid pipe - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?338434-TB-Developments-TT-Decat-Pipes Exhaust system - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?345888-TB-Developments-3-5-quot-Exhaust-System Tim based the mid pipe and system on the Amuse exhaust, if I was wanting one that is where I would be heading. Another option is the RSR exhaust, very popular on here.
nigelboyne
Yes both cats out and the silencer that goes in to the tip, I guess with both or even 2nd cat in along with the silencer it quiten it down a good bit.

Scooter
Blitz nur is I think more boomy/drony the HKS more raspy/less drony. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?321939-Which-is-louder-HKS-Super-Dragger-or-HKS-Slient-HI-Power&highlight=dragger Edited June 17, 2018 by Scooter (see edit history)
blythmrk
I will stick with the HKS super dragger (it must be a mki version as the back box is huge) for now but I may swap it around next year if I fancy a change! Thank you for your replies
Bobbeh
Id recommend you what I (Veilside Ti) have but you cant get them any more. The Nur drones a bit at speeds so I've heard over the years from various owners with one fitted.
blythmrk
Thank you for your reply I have a nur spec (no cats) in my mkiii turbo Supra and love it! On the Ti does it have a rounded back box as that’s the look I like. As I said I am going to stick to the super dragger for now plus I had it shot blasted last year and rust proofed and painted as the pipe work is mild steel unlike the nurspecs stainless. rider
I have the HKS Hi Power Racing with its 94mm pipe on my car and its really quiet on the inside but people say it sounds the part from the outside. There are both cats in place on my car. I prefer it to my old 3 inch bespoke MIJ exhaust that was a lot louder and very boomy on overrun, maybe its an age thing? People have said exactly the same about mine I even moved it on my drive without the back box on and it’s still pretty quiet. I think it’s an age thing especially you! but I am getting there too
