What is the function of these two lines that goes/to from the fuelhanger?

Evening Forum.

Can anyone tell me the function of the two lines (not the fuel feed and return)?

Any way to check that they are fully functional?

Edit: one is attached to the hanger, the other is the one on the right side attached to the fueltank.

I just did some searching on the TSRM app.

I understand now that the hoses are respectively called

Fuel breather hose (monted on the fuelhanger).

Evap hose (mounted on the tank).

By the looks of it, the breather hose goes to the location where you fill fuel to your car.

The Evap hose must be the one that goes to the canister that you are talking about.

Where under the bonnet can I find it?

The reason why I’m asking questions of this, is because there is building a lot of pressure in my tank and I suspect that either the breather hose or the Evap hose doesn’t function.

Edit: just saw now that you added a link.

Only problem is that my car is highly modified so that canister is not there any longer.
