When I bought my Nissan Leaf as a daily I intended to buy another sports car after selling my 370z,i now find myself with a increasing aversion to going back to paying for fuel !Mind you once they get enough of us in electrics charges for these will also rise.

They did it with diesel so do not be surprised when leccy goes mad too. Although I'm pretty sure there's a lot of pollution created in the production of leccy too!

Jet fuel is tax free ........so save yourself a fortune and don’t drive to work , just fly off on holiday every week !!!

Or buy a Learjet and laugh at the taxman .

We only use 16 billion litres of that really green jet fuel each year

My "commute" to work is by helicopter. Cars are really just toys for me so fuel price isn't that relevant. I think between both cars (MR2 and Supra) I did 5k miles last year!

Duty obviously makes it more expensive but being in the oil and gas industry means I'm one of few people who actually WANT the oil price to rise! Any fuel spend increase due to oil price is offset by share price :D
