stevie_b
Not in a dating sense, but by a tradesman. It happens quite a lot to me. I invite people to do work on my house - in this case a garden double gate. They visit, look at the job, and say yep I'll get a quote to you within a couple of days. Then nothing. I follow up with a phone call - left answer message. 3 days ago. Still nothing. Why don't these peope have the decency to say if they're not interested in the job? Just make up an excuse if the job is too big/ too small or I seem like a d ick. At least then I'd know I need to ask someone else. Does anyone know any good gate people - metal or wood, not sure which to go for yet. I'm not that much of a d ick really.

I'm sure they'll have other work to do and its maybe tied them up a bit. Plus its the weekend
Ric
We have a nightmare finding tradesmen all time. We wanted 14 new doors fitting inside our place. A few people come, some didn't turn up or didn't even send us the quote. The guy who actually came did 2 doors then buggered off never to be seen again, even left his George hoover here.
