SupraTRD_MK4
As topic states, trying to figure out how does the head lights attach to the car. I am awaiting delivery of them so trying to figure it out for now. I have TRD replica front fenders and I don't see mounting tabs for the 2 nuts on the head light bracket to mount. Does it even mount to the fender inner front section? Does anyone have aftermarket FRP fenders and can show me what they done with their's or can someone enlighten me as to how the headlights attach apart from the one bolt at the center on either side of the radiator support? Al Massey
I am fairly sure they attach to the wing. I am TRD widebody so will grab a picture tonight for you if you'd like?
SupraTRD_MK4
Hello mate. Please do man. I'd appreciate it. These dumb retards who done the body work on my car cut that part off. I would like to see how it looks oem on the TRD fender so I can replicate it on mine if possible.

SupraTRD_MK4
Thanks Dunk. Much appreciated. Yeah dumb idiots man. Sad thing is I bought the car off the owner unfinished so now trying to sort out what I can before she gets to her former glory once more. Interior was also missing alot of parts and dash panels were covered in material.
Dnk
No problem mate, all the best with it, brackets could be made and then fibre glassed in place, i re call one side of mine cracking where the holes are that the head light fitted to it
SupraTRD_MK4
What did you do in the event of that Dunk? I am considering making steel brackets as they would hold the lights better than the FRP giving way for any reason but if I build up a few layers after curing process, it should make it stronger. I am after the OEM look but them lights aint cheap.
Dnk
It was easily repaired with glass fibre but around the holes i bonded some washers to the bracket as it had cracked across the holes The actual bracket was pretty strong and didn't move on my wings/fenders
SupraTRD_MK4
Thanks for that Dunk. I did inspect what was left of the one side of the fender and yeah, as you mentioned, it does seem quite strong so will try and repair it to that same thickness and look. Add some washers around the holes would be my advice or even a plate with the both holes drilled into it
SupraTRD_MK4
I even thought of that. Concealing a metal plate inside the fibre glass so it doesn't have much flex as will be the idea of most of the bumper repairs as to where they mount as well. Thanks for your time and response Dunk
