monkey3
Hello all, Just changing the cam cover gaskets as one of them is a tiny bit weepy and buying up the parts to do it... So apparently this (Seal packing 08826-00050) part has now been discontinued. Now I wouldn't normally worry about this and I'd just use the closest sealant to hand but with my new Sup being something of a nice one I wondered what the best replacement to use would be. *I need to keep it nice and original as far as possible. Thanks for any ideas
Scooter
I think you are slightly over worrying if you want to keep two blobs of sealant by the cam caps original but I'll have a look what's recommended

Scooter
They will all do the job as afaik it's not a too harsh a seal environment, so whatever satisfies your originality criteria!
Chris Wilson
Now don't you go using this here vehicle. Or the original oil will go black, the original petrol will get burnt, and God forbid a puncture, all that original air escaping....
