blythmrk Posted May 22, 2018 Share Posted May 22, 2018 I have a small case diff but want make sure is an 02 not an 01 (I think its an A02A but unsure and didn't see the chassis plate of the car) I know an A03B is a 15 teeth pinion gear but unsure of an a02a/b (I presume the crown and pinion are alike on the a & b differentials) Or is there an easier way to find out if the diff is an 01 or 02 ratio than removing the back plate? Thank you for the reply. I am not sure of how many rotations of the prop to drive shaft rotation there should be so will probably open it up then I can take a look inside anyway! A02A/B = 3.769 (3.8) prop-flange rotations for one wheel flange rotation. A03B = 3.267 (3.3) prop-flange rotations for one wheel flange rotation.
