Damn,

that means there are at least 3 of us Black 'uns in Preston area.

I'm sure someone said these Supra's were rare :D

I'm waiting for the "Was it you" about me, I've had the car a month now, and no-one on here's seen her . (Apart from Stu_Fraser - who was the previous RK and Kev at Envy on the day I picked her up.)

Keep your eyes peeled mate

Mike

just noticed on your garage Mike that you have the SARD R2D2

how do you find it? i've got the Blitz SuperSound at the mo and it doesn't seem that loud to me & i don't hear it that often

do you find the same with us having autos or do you hear it all the time between gear changes etc?

i only really hear it when i accelerate and lift off as opposed to accelerate & change gear as i'm used to with a manual

thinking of swapping to the R2D2 so would appreciate your opinion

cheers,

Wes

Yeah same for me really, only really notice it when I lift off at high boost, I guess the auto box shifts at quite low boost, and if I'm giving it WOT then all I hear is the engine :D.

Not really played with manual mode, so maybe if you had more control over when the gear change occurs you could control the "volume" if you wanted.

Cant say ive ever seen a black one in Preston yet. Seen a few silvers and a red but no black, oh yeah and a gunmetal as well.

A couple of years back there was a black one parked on Blackpool Road most nights, and I saw an MSB a while back, on Garstang / North Road - end of Aqueduct street, other than that the Silver in Warton, and I've seen toby_g around once or twice. Still not seen you about either :)

You can definitely hear it when lifting off at high boost, not sure whether it is louder than stock, or any other BoV. I bought the car with the SARD already on.

ROFL :D

Tis true im afraid. Now living in Standish Wigan and skint at the mo with just moving. Wez, have you noticed the pic we took when were lost on that bridge after the photo shoot made it into the calender. Well chuffed. Also hows your car running now, maybe you can give me a propper race. ;)

it made it in?! sweet! that is fantastic!

not had much chance to give it some proper testing since the journey back from Mr Wilsons was a WET one, and i'm talking torrential rain on the motorway

got a trip down to Bracknell next week so i'm gonna take it down there for a good run & then give Chris some feedback that he asked for

yeah i reckon i should be able to keep up now ;) you don't know about the NOS yet do you

The last i heard on the NOS situation you were trying to keep your credit card in your wallet to stop you buying some. Have you given in and got some?

Yeah the picture made it. Quite ironic really we spend all day finding scenic spots to take nice pictures and get loads, get lost on the way home and while parked on a motorway bridge we happen to take a quick snap and thatst the one that made it in. Typical.

One of Dales as we were driving along also made it in so well chuffed.

Dont know yet where it will be in the calender, not sure if it will get a month or not, it may just be used in a collage somewhere but even so its pretty cool. I think our 2 cars are the front 2 as well if i remember correctly.
