nicky
So, the time has come to do the cd009 manual conversion! The box arrived wednesday afternoon, i must say its incredible clean and feels nice in the shifts (lets just hope it shifts and feels as nice once its in the car ) The box came out of a 2006 53k mile 350z, price tag was - £645 I've also gone an ordered the maverick motorsports adapter, 1100lbft clutch and flywheel with hardware (Link posted at the bottom) This is my first time involved in converting an auto - manual transmission... So any tips on things i will need will be welcome! Next things on my purchase list are to find and purchase a manual brake+clutch pedal set, and a manual interior panel. Pictures, links and progress will all be posted below! https://www.maverick-motorsports.com/products/jz-vq-transmission-adapter-plate Thanks for reading Nick

nicky
do you need to run a stand alone ecu for this ? I’m not sure that you need to, id assume no as it’s not compulsory to remap it after a manual conversion, just beneficial as boost by gears can be added/changed, different AFR numbers etc... Personally I’m running a stand-alone AEM infinity so I’m doing 1000cc injectors and a new map as soon as the cars back and running

Rowlze
Nicky, Did you ever complete the conversion. I have brought the 350z box this morning. R154 boxes are simply to hard to find.
