What to do with my car?

Looking for some advice folks!

Due to circumstances I am needing to free up some cash and although I have tried to avoid it, my car is a valuable asset.

My dilema is this, do I sell the car, partially break it with the intention of restoring it later or fully break it?

Being an na/tt there is a ceiling on the achievable price in relation to a tt6 so it would probably be worth more in parts.

I realise this is a decision only i can make but i would value some input/advice from my fellow owners.

Cheers

Cam

If breaking, remember this. Some parts will sell in hours, some in months. Some parts you will struggle to give away for free. By the time you've waited in for missed courier collections, etc, you would've lost even more money. Unless you're a breaker, sell it as one.

Sell in one piece Cam, lovely car and a single transaction even if it’s less than you get breaking will be worth it’s weight in gold, when you think of the time and effort you will save.

As above I think selling as a whole is the better option, so many variables with selling hundreds of individual parts and it would consume so much of your time ! Plus it’s a perfectly good car so would be sad to see another one broken for parts.

There's very little sale history for NA/TT's but I'd be surprised if you didn't get a LOT of your money back from the conversion if you decide to sell as a whole.

With TT6's being skyhigh NA5/TT seems like an option that should be incredibly popular. I would definitely pay an extra £4,000 for my NA-5 if it had a TT engine.
