RobAce
Hi everyone has anyone had any experience with the benchmark coil packs from e bay Part of me is thinking how many different companies can there be that are going to make these but then why are they so cheap? Any feed back welcome Rob
adam1983
I wouldn’t bother with aftermarket coil packs. I tried some super spark ones years ago which ended up being the cause of a misfire on a mapping session even though they were brand new. Not cheap from Toyota but they will work as intended. RobAce
Unless I hear good things about the eBay ones, I will get the whiffbitzs ones
adam1983
How much are standard coil packs from Toyota these days? I know they were not cheap when I last bought them but that was years ago.
rider
Unless I hear good things about the eBay ones, I will get the whiffbitzs ones I have 4 pre-VVTi Denso packs spare if you want OE fit and spec coils. £100 each + post, last I checked they are £150 each from Toyota and £170 from Whifbitz. Mk4Gaz
I've got a set here, virtually brand new. I bought them whilst chasing a misfire, and suspected my original oem coil packs. These didn't fix it, so I bought a brand new set of oem, which still didn't fix the issue. I believe them to be 100% perfect working order, and will sell them for £100 posted to anyone who wants them

I ended up ditching them and doing a coil conversion to 1zz coils to rule out any ignition issues. They run faultlessly at 500whp (hi stalll auto dyno so probably more to the tarmac)
