Tho he didn't even tell me there was an issue with my old ones until afterwards. Also, the cover will need to be modified as VAG coil packs are taller than OEM ones. Is it because the AEM v1 converts from direct fire to wasted spark, the old fix for this was a HKS ignition amp, I ran that setup on stock turbos and then again on a single up to 1.8bar using the stock coils. Silece2k6 Posted April 16, 2018 Author Share Posted April 16, 2018 I have a Hks dli installed. The Problem is missfire above 1.5bar in higher gears 3-6. We tried new coils (oem denso and the red ones) with new plugs bkr8eix (gap 0.5) and bcp7r. All missfired. We tried coils and plugs from a 1xxx hp Supra running 2.2bar without any diffrence. Je Said the vag coils and lq9 had to run waste and spark like the oem coils because the v1 ecu has only 5 ign Outputs...
