Supraleeturbo
Are all ao2b from an na facelift lsd? Also would there be much benefit going from an ao1b to an ao2b Thanks Edited April 12, 2018 by Supraleeturbo (see edit history)
blythmrk
An a02b is lsd according to me! These also come in some jspec tt autos. All I know is that the ratio in a a02b is better when running a v160/161 box than a a01a/b diff.
Mike2JZ
a01b = 4.1 ratio a02b = 3.7 ratio So if you want slightly longer gears/higher top speed then go to A02B.
Supraleeturbo
This is for my dad running a w58 and a ao1b so will the ao2b be better with the w58
Frank Bullitt
Swapping a manual diff with an auto on a manual gives the appearence of going quicker as you are changing gears more often due to the ratio. Reducing the rear end will reduce the torque coming to the wheels but will increase the speed. It’ll make first gear feel like second gear, second gear feel like third gear and so on. Thank you but as this was mated with the v161 would that still happen this is where I’m confused would the diff be the same ratio
