Jellybean
Did anybody manage to fit a QuickConnect to the overflow barb of the Koyo Supra Rad , to allow the use of AN fittings?
Chris Wilson
No, I had to give up when a more pressing matter occurred and I fitted a gold plated lid to the septic tank. AN fittings on the rad overflow indeed.....

and1c
Not sure how that could work, as I thought quickconnects were designed to interlock to the male/female other side quick connect?https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/dry-break-connectors/jiffy-tite-quick-connect-dry-break-fittings-2 Either way, it wouldnt work with that rib, the best bet would be to get an engineering shop to remove the nipple, drill out the hole a little and weld in an AN fitting, something like this possibly https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8-3-4-UNF-AN8-08-FEMALE-Aluminium-Weld-Fitting-Round-Base-/362001905056?clk_rvr_id=1476829822506&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=twenga&utm_campaign=twenga&utm_param=eyJlcyI6MCwicyI6OTcyMDIzNywiY2kiOiIwMzM0ZGYyZGI2Y2NjZGEyZTk4OTFlOWM2ZDU2MzJiZSIsImkiOiIzNjIwMDE5MDUwNTYiLCJ0cyI6MTUyMTg5ODkxMiwidiI6Mywic28iOjE1MDAsImMiOjEwNzA2M30%3D&rmvSB=true
Jellybean
These Quick Connects create a seal on the barb Same as used on the Flexfuel sensors or any fittings with a Barb I Just want to have an AN black (cotton type line) not necessary has to be AN fitting , just to tidy up the bay but I think I found some Flexable hose for the job , any lines I used are too rigid , I was not aware of the Flexable coolant hoses Thanks for the help
Mk4Gaz
You can buy hose finishers that mimic the look of -an fittings, to use on braided hose - maybe they would be a better option?
