Jellybean
Hi Car 2jzgte JDM with PT6466 Gen 2 I have a 25 row oil cooler but I am not keen on the Greddy inline thermostat; they are over 10 years old , time for a refresh My main objective is to retain factory oil flow, still retain the oil filter on the side of the block I need some advise on Thermostat Sandwich plate , Mocal I presume but what one? Do I need the longer oil filter housing stud ? Do I need or it is advised to remove the OE oil filter cooler? Due to clearance issues? Mike2JZ
Use one of these. https://www.racinglines.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=87_92_282&product_id=158 You can use the factory oil cooler housing or bolt it straight to block. If you want to bolt to block, you will need oil filter stud extension.
