Original post deleted by looks of it?? Thanks!

Looks like I'm going to have no option but to remove my exhaust gas control valve and convert to ttc option until I can find a new housing and valve, just dropped and smashed mine!

How poor will the car drive when this is done.....?

It's on an auto box and bpu so imagine pretty horrible?

Any thoughts?

I run a UK BPU on autobox with paddle shift in TTC, and love it mate.

Ah that's interesting.

I don't have paddle shift unfortunately but good to know.

I would to get the sequential system working properly but just in case I can't find the part I need, this may be the option for the moment.

Thanks

You'll love it, but it's at it's best in TTC on an auto when you manually control the gears yourself, hence why I designed a paddle shift kit :)

I just read through your thread mate, after missing it the first time round.

What great work youv’e done off your own back. Very impressed. I love the way it can be easily returned to stock etc. Goes along with my thinking on mods too.

If I had the funds I’d seriously consider looking into it. As it stands I hope you get it off the ground and make even more of a success of it.

Would love to see a video demonstration of it working on some twisty roads; car review style. Think it would hopefully seriously boost your interest too :)

Thanks mate, that's really kind of you to say :)

A video will be done soon, once I get the car out of it's winter storage in my garage :)

Look forward to that

Imagining what it would be like dropping down using the paddles for a sweeping bend on a nice road and shifting up while powering out with the same character of the stock box but unleashing its full potential.

That's exactly what it's like mate :) And why I made it :)

I managed to buy a new genuine valve direct from Toyota in the end for £30!! In this country too. I was convinced it would be discontinued!

Very impressed with your paddle shift kit!! Extremely good work!

It's something I have considered for mine and think it would defo release the potential from the auto box. Be kean for one of your kits when they become available for sure and will keep my eye on your thread!

Amazing isn't it, over the many years I've found some parts you think will cost the earth, turn out cheap. And other parts you think will be cheap, make you want to have a lie down lol

Thanks about the kit :) It will be getting a proper hard testing on DB this May by Rosie and I :D
