Just thought I’d post a few words and pics of my latest purchase/mod.

Few weeks back after 3 years of wanting, I got my mits on a TRD wheel, I was a decent price, albeit bit rough on sides, and BLUE! Also had to from Teesside to Manchester n back on a Friday night for it!

Anyhoo, 2 weeks later, it’s been reupholstered and in me supra. [emoji1303][emoji2]

Black leather, perforated black leather grips, with red stitching - to match my red recaros and the TRD badge.

I’m happy ha. imageimageimageimageimage

Exactly how I got mine retrimmed a couple of years ago, looks great when freshly done.

Mines starting to get a shine on it now unfortunately, prefer the matt finish.

Leather only goes shiny because of the oils and dirt build up, clean it mate with a decent cleaner and you will get it back to a matt finish. Do not use a balm on it and get a cleaner from "the leather company", they do amazing products

1:20 solution of APC and some leather cleaner is good to maintain the matt look.

Thanks chaps, I’ll give it a go over the weekend

Cheers guys. I’ll take the cleaning side of things on board, as I forgot to ask the guy when I picked it up!

It’s a one man team, called ‘Hide ‘n’ seat’ based in Shildon. (North east)

He applied on here for a traders thing but didn’t hear back. From what I’ve seen, does some great work.
