Mike2JZ
It's a bit of a squeeze but it can be removed without needing the jack the car up.
Frank Bullitt
Move the PS tank out of the way and you can access it from above.
peter richards
I wanted to get it up on the front as I have a tiny oil leek , probably after changing the gear box oil , and when I was under I thought how am I going to reach the filter , frank has it got to be removed or just moved, although saying that its not red
Frank Bullitt
Just unbolt it and move it out of the way, if you need to do a fluid change you could remove it altogether and give it a good clean inside. E2A Just be careful not to damage the fragile screen/filter inside. Edited March 7, 2018 by Frank Bullitt (see edit history)
Scooter
Peter x3 10mm bolts to free the reservoir up, you may need to unclip a bit of loom to get to one (you just need to insert a screw driver into part of it and lift. With the reservoir loose you can move it enough (without disconnecting any fluid lines) to create a gap big enough to get your hand down/filter out. Loosening the filter from underneath isn't that easy from memory, you need some height to get your arm up there which isn't easy with jack and stands.
