evinX
Well, after this using a soarer interior into a supra, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/build-threads/816253-the-bastard-supra-mkiv-lexus-edition.html heres another, some 4x4 inspired disgrace, shawn - presenting your old blue supra http://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/196983/toyota-supra-cummins-diesel-build
Ric
That Cummins diesel one is going to be epic. Different and cool imo

JasonR24
Those are both awful. Why downgrade the supra like that?!

Burna
Those are both awful. Why downgrade the supra like that?! It's an improvement on the blue one! That car was a right piece of shit!
ShawnPreece
It's an improvement on the blue one! That car was a right piece of $#@!! I agree with the second part of that, is why I broke it for bits but cant have a diesel engine in a Supra

Burna
The black on black had a big V8 petrol in it That's why I said 'ish', dumb dumb It's the look of the thing that I think is cool. Plus, another Supra chopped and changed just adds to value of mine
Mont
A friend of mine runs a 285bhp diesel-engined mk2 Golf GTI which has changed my mind in recent years of fast diesels, so I love the idea of the Cummins conversion, especially as the car was being broke anyways. It's good to see that Supra getting another chance at a life it might not have otherwise had.
jim_supra
Really liking the Cummins diesel build, been following it for a while now. It's certainly very different and is making use of a shell that may well have been scrapped. As for the build with the Soarer dash in it, it's not my cup of tea really, I do really like the digital dash in the Soarer, but for me it just looks odd in the Supra. The big wheel build is so different there's a total novelty to it. I think it really suits the car.
sebas
Cummins engine is really heavy, according to http://www.cumminshub.com/12v.html it is 1100lbs dry weight for engine alone and 2jzgte is about 600lbs with V160 (info from supraforums). Front suspension will have some hard times with that extra load
and1c
Wow, I have to say I love what he has done with the blue one, heavy diesel or not!

Front suspension will have some hard times with that extra load IMO adding that much extra weight is dangerous, the mounting points, subframes, bolts, suspension etc were not designed to cooe with that. Any insurance company worth their salt would be insisting on a report from a qualified engineer before insuring it for road use.
jackso11
The 4x4 one would be cool if you lived in Australia, or Saudi, or anywhere you could rip it up on sand dunes. In the U.K.....no, it’s just a massive cost to downgrade a good car! The soarer interior one...there is no other word but ‘why’!
