Otherwise, get a matching 255/45/18 and use them together. The first time you get in the car it will feel like the arse is up in the air but within a couple of mins it will feel totally natural. Don't worry about the speedo. It will still over read but it will now be closer to accurate than it was before. I drive like a complete loon and I've never had any problem with larger section rear tyres.
