Supra374
Hi I’m lookin to buy a non vvti aristo engine and auto box and would love some help on what I need to change and need to get to swap it into my na auto If anyone has done this swap the help aould be greatly appreciated as I know a good bit about cars but for something like this i am unsure. navtrd
The sump is different but I'm sure you can use the one from na ge engine the wiring loom has to be altered too.
Supra374
Can the loom be altered or would it be better to buy a new one that’s for the supra. The sump I know about. Is there any parts on the engine that are different, is the ecu different

-K1
you can split the na & aristo loom, that make some work but not very complicated. i use the aristo ecu. For the engine itself I've keept my na engine mount (you have to change the sump too like navtrd said)

Swampy442
Im here Best and only advice I can give is get a TT Supra wiring harness and ECU. The Aristo engine is the same, apart from the sump and water pump, but everything else, sensors, plugs, switches, all the same. But the Mk1 Aristo has an ECU controlled hydro fan for the radiator, a nitrogen assisted ABS/traction control brake master cylinder which cause lots of problems

Is that on all non vvti aristo engines, I’m I better to go vvti what’s your verdict
Swampy442
Youre better to get a Supra engine, that will be plug and play. And yes thats on all Aristo engines

dfrancis85
I'm doing the same swap at the moment. Isn't thst hard, especially if you have a GE to take parts from. I found this link very useful. http://www.2jzgarage.com/2016/02/toyota-supra-na-tt-conversion-aristo-engine-differences-part-4/ My engine is nearly ready to drop in now.
