PJJ
Been contemplating some bucket seats from BB Classics that I saw at the NEC classic car show. They aren't specifically designed for the Supra but has anyone had any experience of these? http://www.bbclassics.co.uk/bb6seats.html http://www.bbclassics.co.uk/bb6dseats.html
Big Mark
I remember watching these on ebay a year or so ago. No idea about actual quality as I went for Recaro's in the end, but bear in mind that these will be vinyl, not leather.

My preference was also Recaro's but the price of these was for a pair so thought may be worth a look. Where did you get yours from Mark and what sort of price were they? Thanks. Big Mark
I got a pair of leather & alcantara Recaros for an Renault Megane R26 from a bloke on ebay for £450 for the pair. Apparently I could of sold the R26 seat mounts on them for a fair few quid but were so big I just binned them. Seats are mint and being from a production car, rather than aftermarket they'd have to meet all the safety and crash regs. 2 mounting option. A) a set of bride mounts/runners, or B) mount brackets from johnmkiv and universal runners from ebay. I chose B.
Mk4Gaz
I've got those bb classic seats in mine. I made my own subframes, and welded them to a set of John Doodes base rails. They're not as comfy as oem, but they look nice, and that's all that matters right
Mk4Gaz
I've got more photos if you want some
Big Mark
What did you do for mounting the seatbelt buckle? I've still got to sort that out on my car
Mk4Gaz
On the transmission tunnel, there's a stud left behind after removing the oem seats. I used yaris seat belt stalks, as they're longer then the supra ones, and bolted them to the stud on the tunnel
Big Mark
I was going to use that stud but wasn't sure Supra seat belt stalks would be long enough. I'll look for some Yaris ones now. What year did you get or does it not matter and do they plug in to the wiring harness ok or do they need modifying?
PJJ
Thanks for the info. Hadn't even thought about seatbelt stalk because assumed would mount to seat or frame. Something for me to look into. If you have other pics mate would be good to see. Did you have to pay extra to get done in different colour vinyl? Big Mark
Would these work? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Auto-Seat-Belt-EXTENDER-EXTENSION-BUCKLE-SAFETY-CLIP-25CM-21MM-UNIVERSAL/232590271156?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
