Sandesupra
Did the Supra come with a optional lower wing? My brother had on his years ago. Looked like the stock one, but when we parked next to each other it was clearly lower.. Thanks Phil
Frank Bullitt
Yes. I think I am right in saying it was for Scandinavia due to their tighter regulations. The only other similar wing is GReddy. But these are rare.
Sandesupra
This was an rz from Japan so it was probably GReddy then:) need to get my hands on one[emoji85]
Sandesupra
If I’m not mistaken it also had Veilside exhaust.

Sandesupra
Trust me it wasn’t:-) don’t have a photo of our cars beside one and other. But it was clearly lower an also came further out:-)
Sandesupra
Searched for the greddy wing and that seemed lower than this.. so this was either a lower oem wing or it’s a shitty pic of my brothers old car[emoji23]

Was the tip of the wing straight?
samdale
Such a beast does exist but is very rare. Search for a member on here called Peter Richards. I believe he has one and would probably know more about it. j_jza80
The smaller wing was made by B&M Brune for the European market, and is seen on German and Scandinavian cars. As above there was also a greddy wing, which is what you will find on jdm imports.

As above there was also a greddy wing, which is what you will find on jdm imports. So its aftermarket then. Toyota didnt sell any other wing but the OEM and TRD one afaik. Plus the Supra wasn't sold in Scandinavia. Just mainland Europe and UK.
peter richards
that's probably a copy bobbeh , Toyota did make it, my initial findings when I stated looking was the swedes thought the oem normal might be dangerous in an accident and Toyota made this as an alternative, that's why up to the B+M one they were like rocking horse poo to find , I found mine in Germany and did a swap with the fella Edited February 19, 2018 by peter richards (see edit history)

I guess it was a German only option - very rare like you said! What was the logic behind the OEM wing being dangerous in an accident? It would just shatter if rolled on? ellis
What was the logic behind the OEM wing being dangerous in an accident? They obviously had my mum in the Health & Safety Department as she said that most things would have my eye out.
