ShawnPreece
Im off up to pick my engine up on friday and just wanted to see if theres any good tricks iv missed in transporting it back... I got a trailer and will take a pallet, loads off off cuts off wood, nails (and a hammer), ratchet straps, cushions, possibly a tyre (if I can find one which im pretty sure iv got a couple lying about), a sheet and some old cushions just so I can see what the best method is when im with the engine but I want it to be really stable and also dont want to scratch any part of it so just seeing if there is any awesome methods you guys have found of securing it safely that I might of not thought of? chazuk
Two big blocks of wood same size drill out a hole so the engine mounting bolts fit, screw these blocks down to the pallet or leave as it this will stop the engine rocking side to side, then cushion and straps will be fine just make sure its tight

Hitbox Junkie
put it in the car job done. Just strap it down using straps, with cushions and wood. Or put it in the front seat and put the seat belt round it
