How is this done does anyone have a guide?

This site the pictures are down, I'm just wondering what size of washers are to be used and how thick, and where they extactly go.

Thanks for the help gents.

EDIT: If someone can give me the part numbers for seals ill need i'm upgrading my torque convertor.

I have a front main seal, rear main seal, cam seals. I'm not sure what seals ill need for the transmission.

I don't know if the oil pan has a gasket it or uses just sealent same with the valve body.

I had my old box shimmed by David. You need the box off the car and flipped over to make the whole job easier as gravity is not your friend on this job.

The mechanism that needs removing, lots of bolts in 3 different sizes, so tip is to undo and lift off with bolts still in it, something you won't be able to do if working under the car. Bolts have to go back in correct locations.

Also having box out makes sealing the sump back on easy as you can guarantee surfaces are completely clean of transmission fluid.

There are no direct instructions on the forum, for the work necessary. David spent many, many hours working on these boxes, to find the 'sweet spot' with the shimming process, and I don't think he'd readily give up that information.

But, if you contact him, and are willing to travel to him with your gearbox, I'm sure he'd be happy to do it for you
