Stowell
I’ve just recently rebuilt my 2jz-ge NA-T supra , and being new too the supra I didn’t pay attention too the ht lead positions with them being numbered on the cap. Now she won’t quite start and I’ve discovered it’s had the 4Runner dizzy cap fitted which I was clueless too until I did some searching. I’ve basiclly followed the firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4, putting the leads on in that order going clockwise. It’s not quite starting, I’ve got spark, fuel and compression. I’m adamant it’s too do with the ignition timing, because when I rotate the housing fully anti-clockwise it won’t try too fire at all. If I rotate it fully clockwise it tried too fire. I’m just hoping somebody could be a gem and give me an order from the 4Runner distributor cap.. too the cylinder number. Thank you for any advice given it’s appreciated
P_Bazz
Spark Plug to Distributor 1 5 2 1 3 3 4 6 5 4 6 2 The 4 Runner engine is a V6 setup, hence the different firing order.

Chris Wilson
Move all the leads on the cap one position clockwise and fiddle again.
