I know it’s a long shot as the video footage isn’t HD quality but I was hoping someone might have some nifty software that might be able to get a number plate off the video.

 

Some kind soul driving like an award winning dick hit a turning car and almost hit an on coming vehicle. As you can imagine as no one was injured it is not a priority for the police ..... the turning Car was my neighbour.

 

Any help would be a massive help, I know the car is a 2 door merc but not sure what model.

Imported that video into some editing software and I've only got 1-2 frames where only part of the number plate is eligible. All other frames are far too blurry to make it out. So inconclusive from what I can see, unless someone has some magical enhance CIA tools

What part did you get ? Might help if someone local recognises the number plate fragment.

Front section appears to have 53 in it, whilst the rear section has W in it?

That look like a CLA class model. The same shape the 45 AMG model came in. Hope you find that idiot. Could have costed someone a life there. Cant believe the nerve to have sped off afterward. Can see further up hill how the car is really going at it.
