Just noticed there you won't have side indicators....that ok? I understand you will have them at the front and the back of the car but is it an mot requirement or anything for them to be on the side too? Wish I could do a full rebuild like that! One day....

Subframes all ready and going back together.

Main steel parts were blasted, treated and powder coated.

Alloy sections were blasted and cleaned.

Rear upper arms replaced with new

New subframe bushes and diff bushes

As the condition was good, all bolts were blasted, acid dipped, treated and zinc coated.

I'm seriously impressed...I want!

How much does something like this cost (ballpark)? There must be a lot of older shells out there like mine, needing this kind of attention, so how much should I be budgeting?

Its very hard to say without seeing it and even starting the strip down, Jays car was not too bad as it hasn't been in the UK that long.

We were able to reuse most of the parts and it all came apart nicely.

How comes the quick release fuel pump connectors , surely they don't fail often enough for this to be a benefit ?

The fuel pumps on the hanger have a connector plug and then a inline crimp , why have the connector plug ? or is it something else ?

Ah sorry, the connector plug comes on the pump so rather than cut it off we just utilise it.

Jay wanted a personal touch on the car so we used the Marbek logo from his clothing brand on the calipers.

It required us to strip the calipers, shave the face to remove the original logo. Then repaint and assemble.

Subframes installed into the car with HKS coil overs, TRD roll bars and new drop links
