KW Suspension install

I fitted these last year myself. Took me about 8h but had to cut the old drop link bolts and only had a hack saw to hand.

I’m sure I found the guide on here very helpful.

Also remember I had to modify the top mounts slightly to widen the bore so the top bolt would fit through.

Good luck

Just take your time especially on the drop link bolts as said as thats where time gets eaten for fun. However if its all relatively new you should be ok. Poss have a set of spring compressors to hand just incase as the front is very close but as also said before I think you can do it without.

Best of luck, Let us know what you think of the KWs once done as we are trying to convince another member thats the way to go on his BMW.

Will do , I have Bilstein TRD on so hopefully they are alot more comfortable

They will be!

Only thing I found with them is they can squeak while going over things like speed bumps etc. I contacted KW and they said it’s the oil traveling through the shock and normal. It seems to be during colder weather (where I guess the oil is thicker).

When I get the car back on the rd after winter I’d like to try their softest setting for a while just to see what it’s like.

FYI I don’t think you are meant to have them on the apsolute softest OR hardest settings; it’s meant to be one back from it.
