Supra-love
Has anyone used hycote double acrylic products and know if the match is any good? rider
I used to use their hycote Audi brilliant black and that was spot on, over two cans ordered years apart as well which was impressive.

Thanks mate I’ll order some and see how it goes, obviously know the original paint won’t be as good as fresh paint, but it will do until I manage to afford a full respray

sidewaysdan
Yeah I didn’t realise this picked up a touch up stick for a couple off chips and it was more a off white . But I’ve ordered this one to do the side parts on my trd so will do a test sample first..
muckyman
if there are three shades of 040, how do you know which to order? (or is it just trial and error?)

Dave
if there are three shades of 040, how do you know which to order? (or is it just trial and error?) They had all three shades in the rattle cans one is a creamy white ones a bright white ,and the other matched mine
Tommyd16
Dosent sound right. I used to paint toyotas on the production line at derby and there was only one white. 040. If there’s a different shade it should have a different paint code. All the paints are mixed with Correct portions of other colours to make the paint code. Hence why you can go to somewhere like Halfords and give them your paint code so they can mix it up to give you a rattle can or can of paint. Maybe they had a shit mix or just some random whites knocking around
