sunny
Hi guys, So yesterday I noticed that the oil drain flange has a very little gap between the sump hole and the flange, never noticed it when i test fitted it before which is weird but need some advice on fixing this. You can see in the attached picture the gap. Is it just a bad flange? Should i just get a bit welded on the flange to extend it and get a custom gasket made? Help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Mike2JZ
Yeah that's going to piss out oil. Either weld it on or get another one. The flange surface on your current one is too small imo.

Yea i was looking at the AN10 flanges for the 2jz-gte and they seem to be wider to allow for that gap to be filled. Just wondering, are the holes for the bolts on the gte spaced out the same as the ge block?
