jcbt
Well just checked fuel costs for the whole trip and my total is £284.35 which seems par for the course for the amount of spirited driving that took place;)

Hemanhead
I can only echo the sentiments, that was another great trip, always good to see the cars out getting some use in the glorious weather we had. Big public shout out to Ellis for getting my partner and I out of a situation too, that was greatly appreciated by us both.
Burna
Welcome back to Blighty you Dragonball Shitlords!!! Seen plenty on here and facebook about how much you all enjoyed it, and can only say the same, best one yet! I tried to get around to everyone the weekend and chat or see if you were ok and got everything you needed, or make sure you were in the know of routes/timings, and generally make sure you were happy and enjoying the trip, so apologies if I missed anyone Was great to see so many old faces doing what we've enjoyed doing for years on Dragonball, and especially nice to welcome into the Dragonball family Jason & Kerry, and also Shawn and his dad. They got fully involved all weekend and took everything the trip threw at them with great enthusiasm, and I think it's safe to say they are now hooked Some personal thanks from me. Firstly thanks to Branners, for the support and leading the routes, always in safe hands when he's up front, and bloody quick as usual! Massive thanks to Ellis, who besides getting married just before Dragonball, surprised us all with books for the trip! How he found the time I don't know, and as usual for doing all the design and logo work and stickers for the trip, as all of what he does comes out of his own pocket, so always buy him a beer when you see him, or a reach around, check what mood he's in Also Thanks to RobUK for sorting out the clothing, even though he's been very ill in the run up to Dragonball, and is now thankfully at home recovering, he still managed to sort everything out for us. Always a huge thank you to my old friend Wile, he is like the eyes in the back of my head, and will always spot things I miss and look out for people over the weekend to make sure they are ok, constant support for months ahead of the event too, I couldn't do it all if it wasn't for him, thank you mate As always, each year we learn more, have new ideas for the next one, and learn some lessons. Some of my thoughts are, group size, I think it worked really well with the low number of cars we had, on and off the road, easier to handle from an organisers point of view, but what's nicer to see was it was easier for everyone to socialise together without anyone feeling isolated or off in individual groups, more of a Dragonball family. I purposefully changed up the timings for lunch breaks this year compared to the last few years I've organised the timings. I wanted to test out if having lunch later on, and therefore enjoying more of a spirited exciting drive in the morning/early afternoon, then a long lunch, and a short hop to the hotel. I think it worked well, instead of having the usual 2 1/2hr slog to the hotel when everyone is tired and full of food after lunch. The only thing which caught me out is that we didn't make up much time on the routes this year compared to other years, as they were all back road routes, so if you were stuck not being able to overtake, then it hurt the times for the day. I will be mindful of that for the next one I'll add more when I think of things, but we all could do with everyones feedback as usual if you have the time Thanks again everybody for an amazing trip, and I'm looking forward to spending time with you all at the S-Club Party in July Where hopefully we can convince others to become Dragonballers! lol #dragonballwankers #boreoffwithyourdragonballstories Edited May 23, 2018 by Burna (see edit history)

Best event I’ve ever been apart of. The driving was the obvious draw but the people are just top notch. Don’t think I ever met a better group of people. Really honoured to have been apart of it. Can’t wait to see you all again at the next event. Got something every month till September at the moment

I have a couple of suggestions. I and my wife love the events but we are wierd, aquard, bastards especially when tired or hungry. So sorry if we didn't hang arround much with everyone. We don't hate you. Just bad at conversation. Sorry I think something like a WhatsApp group we could all join. Would be great. Just while we are on the event. Good for banter and getting updates. "I missed the train", "we are skipping this afternoons stop". On the last day I kind of overheard plans had changed and had to go off and find burna to be 100% for myself what was going on. It's probably because as I mentioned above about being a bit antisocial. But I think it would be useful. We underestimated the length of time till the afternoon lunch stops. We generally don't eat breakfast and we didn't get any propper snacks with us in the car. A man can only live on haribo for so long! So By 3 in the afternoon when we got to lunch I was almost dead But again. Probably my fault but feedback none the less. My wife would add that she finds french fields boring. Holland and especially Luxemburg trips were much more interesting scenery wise for her. And I'd tend to agree. But I did enjoy the roads very much. Some great routes. add heywood
Awesome event. Thanks to everyone for making it a great one. Best one yet for me, may have been that I wasn't driving a car that I hated driving for more than 30 mins. Night out was epic, toilet roulette my highlight was a snog with Burna, but a lady never tells ha ha. 1459 miles all in. Great routes, beautiful scenery, fantastic company. The day off on Saturday worked really well. I'd agree with Burna, the only one thing I would have changed is getting back to the hotel slightly earlier. As walking in at 7pm to have a shower and a power wank before getting changed and eating at 8 felt a bit rushed at times. Personally I enjoyed it far more with the smaller group this year, it felt more like everyone was together. Big thanks to TTPaul for being our partner in the "none supra gang". Roll on next year
ShawnPreece
Same views here, had an awesome weekend and thanks to everyone for making it so enjoyable and of corse to Branners and Burna for their work in arranging it. Was my first ever Dragonball and definitely will be along again
Burna
Some great feedback! Thank you for taking the time to type it out Add, yep totally agree, we were constantly running late, my bad that, I thought all you loons would cover the miles on my routes quicker lol Lesson learnt there, we just can't do it when not bombing down the motorways. And yes like you I prefer more time out to relax after a hard days driving, and don't like to rush when back at the hotel, so I'll make sure we all have plenty of time to catch our breathes in the future And you seemed to have forgotten, what happens on Dragonball STAYS on Dragonball!!! Guigsy, really appreciate your comments, and very honest of you to say how you and your wife feel, I think we all understand that everyone is different, and also like doing different things. To me Dragonball is about doing what YOU want to do as an individual or couple. If you like hanging around in big groups then do that, others like to go off and do their own thing, I prefer a balance, and need that time out sometimes to just be on my own with a beer away from everyone and just breathe in the weekend and appreciate it, without having to hear that annoying Bunra being a loud twat, as usual! The idea of a whatsapp group for updates and changes of plan is a great one, and I will arrange that for the next one. It will probably be through facebook messenger, as although I hate it, not everyone wants to share their phone number, but yes a great idea that. The length of the time to lunch, yeah, was a bloody long one, but we really wanted to get down to Honfluer for lunch, as it's such a lovely place. But next time things will change again, but won't take that long for lunch Thank you all again for an amazing Dragonball, I truly mean that. It's you guys that make the trip what it is, and you were all bloody awesome this year
