Tyson
CTEK charger here, had it over 5 years and it’s still going strong !! They don’t stock my model anymore but you’d easily find one for £50 as they have large range.

rider
I have several CTEK chargers as the cars and machinery are used so little, keep the battery constantly topped up.
achagor
Halfords ones, cheap and cheerful, does the job, working wonders for me!
samdale
Another vote for CTEK. They'd be perfect if the little quick connect lead was a bit longer. Then I could easily plug/unplug without popping the bonnet.

All my cars and bike have the quick snap connecters on them so no messing about

Delboy52
I have a CTEK 5.0 battery charger keeping my Odyssey battery in shape whilst the Supra is not in use. I don't think it's a failing of the charger, but more the 4 year age of the battery and one too many full discharges over it's lifetime whilst away from home for extended times. Woke up yesterday to a strange eggy smell in the house and found it to be coming from the garage (integrated) where I found a very warm battery along with the attached 0 gauge leads. The battery was expanding like a muffin! The charger was indicating half charge at the time but as the battery was so warm I guess it was still trying to cycle charge/discharge the battery? Worth checking up on the trickle charging batteries to make sure everything is still fine.
Havard
Another vote for CTEK. They'd be perfect if the little quick connect lead was a bit longer. Then I could easily plug/unplug without popping the bonnet. They used to have longer leads but then went for the shorter lead and sell you an extension and make a few more £££. I have two chargers and they are both different lengths on the battery side. I have a CTEK 5.0 battery charger keeping my Odyssey battery in shape whilst the Supra is not in use. I don't think it's a failing of the charger, but more the 4 year age of the battery and one too many full discharges over it's lifetime whilst away from home for extended times. Worth checking up on the trickle charging batteries to make sure everything is still fine. That is worrying as to what would have happened if you had left it. I have used these things for about 7 years and at times left them for about 6 weeks without checking them. Never had a problem, but I do sometimes go to bed wondering if I am going to wake up and find the garage and both my "P&Js" going up in smoke. Great piece of kit for the money but I always though that they protected themselves for electrical surges or overheating the battery. H. Dnk
I've just been out and checked my Range Rover and all appears to be fine, been plugged into the ctek for over 2 weeks now
