peter richards
check the terminal positions I got a red top a few years ago and had to alter the cables , it died after a short time , not as good as made out tbh, as I had to get rid of the surround as well I went and got a bigger bosche one

bignum
Carry a jumper pack with you, optima batteries are useless at holding charge, so a couple of short journeys and starting the car and it`ll be flat.

Tyson
I’ve had a Halfords battery in mine and it was in there when I bought it over 7 years ago and still holds charge great. I suggest the above and have a dud one for shows.
SupraAyf
I use yellow tops for starting my various toys. I do use them for the Supra but like Peter above I have to add cable extensions as the terminals on the YT are far too far away for the standard Supra leads. I wouldn't have one full time though as they lose their umph very quickly. Cheers, Andrew

Rob W
Exide EA654 here, 580 Crank and 65Ah with 4 years warranty £72.92 from Tanya Batteries. Changed from the Halfords HCB005, which is still a good battery.
