el_bandido
Does anyone know of any examples where anyone has successfully used and mapped a Toyota D4-S engine with a Syvecs ECU? If so, what model was required and who mapped it?
Lee P
Does anyone know of any examples where anyone has successfully used and mapped a Toyota D4-S engine with a Syvecs ECU? If so, what model was required and who mapped it? You would be best to speak to Ryan directly [email protected] Or email [email protected] This is monitored by Ryan and the other syvecs staff He has done direct injection cars but not sure of they have done that specifically

mattdavies
I was recently reading a pistonheads thread about a guy using a 1.6 Ecoboost engine in a lotus elise/exige and he spoke about using a ECU other then Syvecs as they are better at controlling direct injection. He seemed like a very knowledgeable guy so might be worth finding the thread and researching the ECU EDIT: Found it https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1614086
el_bandido
Thanks for the link, D4-S is a mix of direct and standard injection though, I can't find anyone who has managed to tune it on an after market ECU. Each cylinder has 2 sets of injectors essentially.
mattdavies
Just re-read the thread and he has bought an inlet with the capability of standard injectors, it might be that this ecu will be able to control them with an add on module. Never the less worth a read if you have 20mins
