hello fellow supra owners! let me make a short introduction, my name is johan, 28 years old from sweden. i bought my supra back in 2013, i have never had any intentions of making a project thread so there is no pics of everything.

heres the car when i picked it up

image

image

as you can see it has a veilside kit with a trial rear :p

anyway, the engine was stock when i got it, exept a catback exhaust. i drove around and enjoyed the car all summer. then i decided to fit a fmic beacuse the stock one was falling appart

image

as you can see i am allso fitting an oil cooler there and a filter relocation kit

image

next thing to change was the diff bushings

image

i allso decided to change the clutch, so i bought a exedy twin disc, just in case i might go single some day..

image

here it is getting the new clutch installed

image

the clutch was very easy to drive, very pleased with it..

i allso changed the bumper to a stock one:

image

then i fitted some ridox replica skirts

image

then i thought i would put a do luck bumper on..

image

i started to want and up the power, so i began fantasise about a single turbo.. so i bought some shit

Turbo sxe s369

image

manifold

image

wastegate precision 46mm

image

injectors bosch ev14 1300cc and a 450 pump. Nuke fuel rail and preassure regulator

image

EMU ecu

image

again so sorry for the lack of pictures :(

off to tune

image

as you can see somewhere along the way i put a euro/uk scoop on

image

rmm wing on there now allso as you see... the care made about 590whp, had to stop there due to fuel problems, i used to stock wiring for the pump and it was to small..

i fitted some new jr wheels and enjoyed my new beast of a car as i thougt it was

i could only upload 20 pics in this first post so i will have a beer and continue below..

this was the last pic i took of the car before....

image

...the hydraulic tensioner decided to quit its job in the middle of a fiftg gear full boost pull. i spun a rod bearing :(

so i drove pretty much all summer flawlessly.. now i decided to pull the engine and paint the engine bay and some other things

pulled the engine

image

and i became tired of all the fibre glass shit on the car so i bought a new oem bumper and found some used oem facelift skirts, and a oem rear bumper :)

i decided to clean up the engine bay, so i deleted the abs and put the fusebox in the trunk

bought some new brake lines for a clean look

image

heres the wiring harness all layed out, everything i dont need was removed, all the wires were extended to allow them to be tucked away

image

i allso bought a new ecu and gonna build a flying lead to it.

image

and with this i will be going drive by wire, so i bought this bosch 82mm throttle

image

i will use a pedal from a lexus sc400 wich i allready bought and bolted to the car.

i orderd some new japaneese wheels allso :innocent::innocent:

image

they are 18x9.5" & 18x11"

then i picked up some tires, toyo r888 265/35 for the front and 315/30 in the rear

image

mounted and balanced

image

then i test fitted my new wheels along with the skirts, bumper etc i got a while back.. this is present day and from now on i will document everything better

first off i started removing all the old body sealant beacuse that is smeared all over the place from factory, got no pictures of that im affraid.. then i put on new sealant in all the places needed..

heres the stuff i used

image

very easy to apply..

here i have applied the new sealant

image

image

then i sanded down the bay and started to mask it

image

some more masking..

image

then i primed the places that needed to be primed.

image

and here i painted the lowest sides of the bay and the left side of the firewall

image

tomorrow i will paint the rest :)

i allso wanted to show my new coolant overflow tank that i bought on chasebays on black friday sale, very nice piece and will look awesome in the bay

Nice work, will you be chasing more power later?

Thanks man :) No i'm not gonna up the power anything, atleast not for now. the turbo is pretty much maxed out at the moment anyway. I have dyno time 28th of mars, im gonna settle for around 850whp this time beacuse i felt 970 was abit much, i drove around all Summer with "low boost" 1.7bar = 775whp, that was alittle to little though :p we'll see :)

Nothing major happend today, i went to the local hydraulic shop and had a new high pressure hose made for the PAS pump to rack.

New hose

image

Then i went ahead and put the enigne and radiator in so i can start to make some new hoses for a couple of oil coolers, a filter relocation and meassure in the wiring to the flying lead.

The engine is alittle dusty from standing in a corner for a while :p

image

Where did you guys relocate your filters to? I want the easiest acces possible. I have a couple of ideas in mind.
