k222bye
So i bought a logitech G29 and the shifter and thought id share with you all. If you have a PC i highly recommend you take a look at Asseto Corsa, its one of the best driving simulator games out there. The steering wheel has force feedback so you can feel the road and bumps, understeer etc. All in I paid £150 for the wheel and gearbox and they do a decent job. Will soon buy an Oculus Rift VR headset to make it much more realistic and maybe a bucket seat with a proper frame to put the gearbox and wheel on. Anyone else have a simulator set up? mc92
I've got a G25, also on assetto corsa - it's fun but you don't get the g-forces from driving a real car which makes it hard for me to feel what's going on sometimes. I think a VR headset would be helpful, I've been looking at the Rift too.
bignum
Been using assetto for about 2 years now and love it, so realistic and I truly believe that my driving (real life) has come on quite abit since then. Got thrustmaster tx wheel and thrustmaster t3papro pedals, th8a shifter, fanatec handbrake, supra seat with homemade rig.
Pete
I still enjoy RaceOn series. I have a lightly used Logitech G25 wheel/pedals/gear stick which could be up for sale if anyone is interested? Buy it now's on eBay tend to be around £100/110 as a guide price. Only for sale as I upgraded to a G29 for PS4 use.
