Japspeed race spec exhaust manifold, any good?

I'm running one on mine and have used a few on singles before. Can't tell you how effective they are in comparison to an expensive manifold, but so far I haven't seen any crack or have any issues with boost creep etc.

For the money I think it's hard to find anything similar.

All right! You got any pics on the manifold and downpipe fitted? Would be interesting to see how it sits with clearance to everything around it.

If you check in my build thread you should see some photos of it installed on mine. But mine is for a 1JZ head so the positioning is slightly different to the 2JZ manifold, but you should get some idea of clearance from it.

Very interested in this for my single build next year! Looking old like a good bit of kit and people seem to have good feedback for it!

How long has everyone been running them without issues?

Is anyone using the 3” cat back they sell also? Can’t find any tube vids of it on a supra!

Between 1-2 years now of use across different builds, no negatives to report as of yet. Never tried their 3'' catback system.

same been running mine for about 2 years , I made my own 3.5 down pipe to fit I gained about 600rpm spool from my previous setup

Nice mate, Was thinking of running 4” downpipes (which you can make me if you like) :search: and 4” single box cat back with my setup to aid flow and spool.

Edit- just purchased garage whifbitz 4” single box cat back and the 4-3” adapter. So I can now do away with the tanabe medallion. Question - will the car need a new map with this upgrade?

Forget about the japspeed 3” one now!
