EleCtRoN
I came across this manifold https://www.japspeed.co.uk/toyota-supra-2jz-rs-tubular-manifold.html Anyone that use it? Seems to be a bit better than the typical chinese ones.
Mike2JZ
I'm running one on mine and have used a few on singles before. Can't tell you how effective they are in comparison to an expensive manifold, but so far I haven't seen any crack or have any issues with boost creep etc. For the money I think it's hard to find anything similar. EleCtRoN
Nice! What downpipe do you run in your setup?
Mike2JZ
Nice! What downpipe do you run in your setup? Japspeed downpipe. Again no issues with it thus far. Sometimes requires some modification depending on exhaust setup, but usually they bolt straight into place to work with the second cat/decat. EleCtRoN
All right! You got any pics on the manifold and downpipe fitted? Would be interesting to see how it sits with clearance to everything around it.

Would be interesting to see how it sits with clearance to everything around it. If you check in my build thread you should see some photos of it installed on mine. But mine is for a 1JZ head so the positioning is slightly different to the 2JZ manifold, but you should get some idea of clearance from it. mellonman
I have one on mine way better then the xs power one I had before , a lot more robust I did do a little porting on mine to make it spot on but other then that cant fault it for the price ,it wont be as good as the billet inlet flange type but good enough. EleCtRoN
Do you use the same 3" downpipe from japspeed as Mike2JZ?
Mike2JZ
Here is a decent photo of them both install together. The only difference on 2JZ is that the turbo mounting is a little further forward and is twisted a little to the left.

Supra-love
Very interested in this for my single build next year! Looking old like a good bit of kit and people seem to have good feedback for it! How long has everyone been running them without issues? Is anyone using the 3” cat back they sell also? Can’t find any tube vids of it on a supra!

Between 1-2 years now of use across different builds, no negatives to report as of yet. Never tried their 3'' catback system.
evinX
Good to hear their manifolds are fine. But dont for one miniute think their control arms are of the same quality. Just a friendly reminder on the topic of japspeed.

Ill definitely go with one of these then along with the PTE 6466 or similar.

Supra-love
same been running mine for about 2 years , I made my own 3.5 down pipe to fit I gained about 600rpm spool from my previous setup Nice mate, Was thinking of running 4” downpipes (which you can make me if you like) and 4” single box cat back with my setup to aid flow and spool. Edit- just purchased garage whifbitz 4” single box cat back and the 4-3” adapter. So I can now do away with the tanabe medallion. Question - will the car need a new map with this upgrade? Forget about the japspeed 3” one now! Edited December 23, 2017 by Supra-love (see edit history)
