alanwheeldon
My MR2 Turbo is wicked in the snow but I've not tried the Supra yet. Being as if costs quite a bit more is the turbo any good for a play in the snow or is it best to leave it at home like a BMW and stick with the MR2

My house has bank roads from both entry's, and i couldn't get further than 5m up then. Had to ditch it at my mothers that night. That's with new Michelin pilot sports 4s tyres too. Scooter
With winter tyres it's 'ok' but no weight over the rear like an mr2 so i've had Kitch79 experiences in mine in the past.....ie best left at home if on summer tyres.
Annabella
if you don't want to end up breaking a write off leave it at home.

Havard
My old NA was pretty good but the TT was a waste of time in poor weather. Best car I ever drove in snow was a Gen7 Celica, strangely enough. H.
formatzero
Didn't fancy the Supra in snow, and my 370z stays off the road in this weather.Best in the snow for me was the Audi tt on my daily run to the Salon:d
rider
I went out in my series II land rover last night, it was fantastic in the snow, ploughing over drifts with ease and not even twitching on untreated lanes on its tour around a variety of pubs. Last time I tried to get back from a local pub in my Supra after an unexpected snowfall I ended up being towed home tethered to a neighbours tractor when I couldn't get up even the slightest incline, luckily for me he was out ploughing the roads. Horses for courses, I'd take the land rover over a horse any day.
evinX
Ive driven mine in light snow all the way to work once. Auto low gears. Traffic like mad. Was all gravy
muckyman
I just went out in the snow for the first time in a Supra. Not doing that again. Roads that I never knew had an incline were barely drivable. I'm on new Avon ZZ5s, so not winter tyres at all.
tintinmt
Any fat road tyre will be fairly useless in snow. What tread there is fills with snow and there is no grip. A narrower tyre can sink into what ever soft surface you have a bit more.

jonc
Got caught in snow 5 years ago in my TT. Driven carefully she got up a really steep hill but as others have no weight over the driven wheels means its a struggle. I just kept moving slowly with no heavy accel or breaking so the wheels didnt spin or slide. Never driven it in the snow since:p:D
mc92
I've just spent 30 mins shovelling snow off the road and progressing by inches to even get mine onto the drive, so no snow for me until I get some proper winter tyres. I'm glad I have two cars.
