MaveriK
Greetings, There has been an issue at school for my daughter, some boys where verbally giving her grief. Rather than go down there and cause a scene i asked her to speak to her tutor. This was done on the Tuesday and the boys concerned were asked to apologise and it was all quiet on the wWednesday. Thursday my daughter and her friend had to park their bikes out side and the shed was full, my daughters was locked next to the shed and her friends locked to the shed through my daughters bike. Roll on to the end of day and her friends bike has been moved and my daughters has had the handle bar twisted round and the brake handle snapped off. So, i ask if there is CCTV footage and there is but inside the bike shed only. I mention that my daughter couldnt get her bike inside due to space and was told there is plenty of space but if she gets there earlier she will get a spot, i had to thank them and put the phone down before they had a mouthful. There are no disclaimers about bikes being left at their owners risk around the bike shed so can i claim for the bike repairs off them before i give them a replay about their bike space and logic? So very very angry about this as its obvious to even an idiot that one of the gentle little lambs that were spoken to has done it.
bignum
Bike damage aside, it looks like you may have to arrange a meeting with the head or understudy and go down there to bend some ears, ive always found this works alot better than a phone call as its easier to fob someone off on the phone, then when you get to your meeting emphasize the verbal bullying and try to get that sorted before mentioning the bike damage, I had a similar nitemare with my daughter and ended up getting the police involved, they were very good tbh as things were escalating , but i did end up visiting 1 lads parents to get things sorted. Good luck.
