Strut Bar on UK

I am thinking of adding a strut bar but, on the passenger side top suspension mount where you would bolt the bar down i have a black box bolted down on a bracket?

Does anyone know what this is, im guessing its part of the UK spec but not sure what?

Is it safe to relocate?

Ill wait until the answers have flooded back...

Thanks in advance..

just fitted one on my j spec last night, blitz dump valve is a little close and could do with a small mod to move slightly.

fitted it ontop of the strut tower ring things.

do you need them on or can you take them off and connect strut brace to body and use the nuts to tighten down.

does sound like the resister pack. john has a cusco on his car with risistor pack have a look at his pic and magnify.

Ad.

Or it can be cut with tin snips.

My resistor pack is tie wrapped on top of the black igniter. Bracket assembly is removed.
