My dad is at the top of my christmas list this year, he owns a 2001 Celica VVTLI 190 6 speed and want to get something car related. Hes not like me pouring money into the car but we maintain it. I needs some paint work here and there, headlights are yellowing slightly. But the interior is mint. Id like to get something for the car but cant think, any suggestions for a Celica?

can see it behind the supra, best pic i got

Forget the car why not a day out with son? I think that'd mean a lot more to him than some serviceable car parts.

I hear you 100. Me and my dad spend alot of time together though. Hes note really outgoing. I want something car related to be fair. Christmas pressies are usually useful stuff we get. Tree. Lights. Useful gifts :D but the dash cam will suprise him and be of use

Is he a "driver" so to speak? What about some really good brake discs and pads? Is that an issue on mods? Add braided lines and better brake fluid

Recently had brembo oe spec pads and discs. Braided lines will be done when a mot shows up a fault. Dad dont fix it if it aint broken as i do :D

How about some detailing products, would be nice for his car and you could work on it together.

We do during summers, next year we will tackle the front end. We just sorted out a squeal it had. And some seals need changing. Hes always on about how solid the supra is etc etc but never forks out on the celica :D

Just spoke to him and he likes the idea of a dash cam so ordered a decent 1080p front and rear of ebay with all the bits it needs and have some money to (buy me something) dad some other bits :D
