ben_harmer32
Going to be fitting a TT HG to my NA for it's turbo swap. Just wandering if there are any differences in HG's or i can buy any that states it's for TT? Currently looking at this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253217626991 Also what other bits should i replace whilst i'm in there? Cheers! evinX
Isnt it usually NA head gaskets they fit to TTs becuase the NAs are high compression. So why remove the better gasket for a inferior one?

So why remove the better gasket for a inferior one? possibly, but they change to a TT HG for the NA as it's thicker and lowers compression allowing more boost I believe Edited December 14, 2017 by ben_harmer32 (see edit history)
sidewaysdan
THE tt head gasket is used on the na to lower the compression so you can up the boost. I also run a tt gasket on my na-t so now run 1.2 bar Edited December 14, 2017 by sidewaysdan (see edit history)

Style
Only guess about the part numbers being different is that it's non-vvti and vvti. If you can find out which one is which then go for the non-vvti one you'll be fine
steve spedd
OR you can fit the TT pistons and install an NA gasket. That's what I have.
steve spedd
I do have a TT head gasket in the Garage should you go that route.
Dave_Batch
Think its standard item, 1.2 or1.3mm that's what i used
goldenvtr
i used a tomei 1.8mm headgasket, and then had my head skimmed (0.2mm) just to ensure it was 100% smooth my compression ratio is now 8.4 give or take 0.1 only other thing i changed was arp head studs, also cleaned deep cleaned the head/valves and piston tops etc
