Supra-love
Anyone got any idea how to read the ammeter on this im not sure which end means fully charged, I assume right side would be charged left side not charged. Also how exactly I should have it set? Got no idea how to use it, would it mean switch down is on or switch up, if that makes sense. My battery has drained during these winter storage times. So got the battery out to fully charge up again.
AC93
Switch down is on, meter needle will be on the right side when charged up
Supra-love
Switch down is on, meter needle will be on the right side when charged up Brilliant thank you, I’ve put the switches down towards normal and 12v As in the picture below
Supra-love
Switch down is on, meter needle will be on the right side when charged up Seems something is wrong here! Charging is all over the place, it started charging up to the right then now it’s gone towards the left! The pic above shows how I’ve got the switches, if I switch the other way it’s completely to the left side. I’ve got instructions for this and it’s brand new, but instructions don’t explain anything Doing my head in lol
Tyson
Switch down is on, meter needle will be on the right side when charged up I disagree if you look at the pictures on the gauge the picture on the left is a full battery. So when it's fully charged it should be on the left.

Supra-love
Thanks guys for the input so fully black would indicate full battery? What about the switches have I got the set correctly? Just that I put my ear near the battery and it’s making a bubbling noise!???? Just turned it off for now.
Chris Wilson
Bubbling is probably over charging, which I doubt that thing's capable of, or a dying / dead cell. Maypole battery charger indeed, tell those guys in funny clothes to run round a bit faster....

Chris Wilson
Yuasa or Bosch seem reliable, but a cheapo with a 2 tear warranty can also be cost effective.
