Ian Ian
Hi, We have had an invite from the NEC at Birmingham to hold a free stand at the Practical Classics Show in March next year. An ideal club stand would include a vehicle in need of restoration, one being worked on at the show and one in excellent restored condition so that visitors can behold and interact with the whole restoration process. They encourage all clubs to present some kind of demonstration of either a restoration skill or a regular maintenance/servicing activity on their stand at the show. Live work is strongly encouraged but it is not necessarily a requirement. If your club would like to attend but is unable to undertake live work, we ask that the car/s you display have a restoration ‘story’ and that you bring your club’s restoration ‘experts’ and present a restoration themed display on your stand. If anyone is interested in organising a stand at this show, possibly one of the traders, the club stand application form needs submitting by 20th October 2017. The application form simply expresses our interest in participating and means they can pencil in a suitable stand for the club on the floorplan. We have organised & exhibited at Classic Car Show at the NEC since 2014 but I do not have the specialist knowledge for a restoration theme stand. If anyone is interested in exhibiting on behalf of the club, please PM me and I will forward on the invite from the NEC with all the show details. Cheers -Ian Ian-

Sheefa
Rob W's Silver one would be an excellent choice as that's been pretty much fully restored and looks stunning. Need to find an abomination of a Supra (some chav off the forum will do fine) And use that as an example of one needing restoration, it'll be a great shock for the owner too when they rock up [emoji16]
