Any headlamp units around?

Fabulous ...!*$$!! .....

I have just noticed my nearside headlamp unit is condensating badly (there's a surprise), as well as the chrome plating peeling and the surround paint too.

Any of you chaps out there with either a spare nearside facelift jap headlight unit or two UK units you would like to sell to me (hopeful, me?)?

Onwards and upwards ....

It's easy enough for you to get condesation out yourself without having to buy new units. Whip off the unit then use a hairdryer or sit it in front of a fan heater for half an hour, the water will evaporate out. Then use some sealant round the existing seal and put it all back on the car.

If you want to refurbish the whole unit inside out then use the link below for description how to do it:

Hiya!

Thanks for that. I have already taken a look at the the piece you suggested - good stuff! My concern is that the chrome peeling on the reflector is gonna render the whole thing illegal. May give it a shot for the practice though!!

I think I may have turned up some UK glass-front units if I'm lucky.

Alla da best!
