ChrisMK4
Hi fellow Supra drivers, Chris from Germany here with his MKIV Twin Turbo. I just installed new speedometer discs for the only reason it reads 340 km/h ; ) After putting the odometer back together and plugging it back on, the needle showed 80 km/h. I did not drive so far because I did not put together the dashobard back together yet. It shows the 80 km/h even with the ignition turned off. When I try to put down the needle manually to zero, it flips back to about 80 km/h instantly. What did I do wrong and what can I do to make it right? Picture attached. Thanks guys! keron
If you put the ignition on, remove the needle and position it to the '0' position. That should solve it. Same goes for the Rev counter too. If you have removed that needle also, when you put ignition on, it may go up to a higher reading.
