JayJay1374
What’s it worth? Hi all. After setting an agreed value policy with Adrian flux of £19k they have now got back to me 3 months after the beginning of my policy saying they are only willing to cover my car for “market value” at £14k. After numerous arguments with them they want me to submit some research and where better to start by asking on here. Anyway, what’s it worth? A quick scan of eBay shows I can’t replace my car for £14k 1997 twin turbo 6 speed, running 421bhp @1.3 bar. Dnk
Copy and paste as many adverts as you can that are all asking the premium price for their cars. Thats what i did with my Range Rover and got the agreed value up from £16k to £30k
Annabella
At around £20k if you take off the BGW - seriously look at these two and yours looks better quality. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-RZ-SUPER-HIGH-SPEC-TWIN-TURBO-MANUAL-6-SPEED-580-BHP-NITROS-OXIDE-/222652466081?hash=item33d71f03a1:g:XOgAAOSwSYpZw8hA http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-RZ-HKS-SINGLE-TURBO-6-SPEED-MANUAL-V160-500BHP-2015-LOW-MILES-/222651464997?hash=item33d70fbd25:g:I4cAAOSwNd9Zwott

samdale
I've got a pretty standard 1999 TT6 and just insured with AF. My agreed value is still in progress but I aimed above £20k. Have provided pics, some bills/reciepts, original purchase receipt of car and a valuation from Jurgen. Will keep my eye on this thread and let you know how it turns out. Hitbox Junkie
Look on auto trader. And piston heads you won't find on of the same spec for 14k Just get as many adverts as you can and send them to the insurance company.
RACsupra
Recent Top Gear magazine has the value of 4sp Auto's at £18k, manuals normaly higher........ but at least its another printed price at £18k that may help prove the valuation is incorrect..... JasonR24
Sky just agreed valued mine at £25k. Look at the Japanese auctions. If you can't find one that will match yours for less than 20k taking mileage and condition into account then they should match it.
JayJay1374
Well just had some good news, I’ve been contacted by Jamie Bishop, Adrian flux’s social media coordinator and fellow supra owner. He spoken to the agreed value deptartment and eductated them on supra prices. So now they’ve called and offered the original 19k agreed value for the policy. Happy days.
