fastcar
Yeah mate £30 is about all it's worth! Should have no probs insuring it for that:p:innocent:
rider
It can be a pain getting agreed value insurance on a stock car, modified I'd imagine could be even more painful as some insurers wont quote on modified. Don't know that any Supra import in any guise has actually sold for anything like £30k so give it a go. Any valuation on any Supra is pointless though unless its an agreed payout value as Lbm has just found out.
CarlM
Who are you going with for your insurance?
berg
Ive just done mine agreed value with Sky, on a highly modified car it doesnt have much to do with resale value, its about what the car owes you and protecting that, it states that on the valuation form You need to prove why its worth the amount you are asking for, i sent a copy of every reciept/invoice for mine and they accepted the agreed value of £22k which is more than what i would sell the car for even in todays inflated market
drift_bear
Yeah I’m going to be speaking to jurgen as well and get a valuation to find something with a similar spec and etc across in Japan
214supra
I'm with classicdirect, had agreed value of £26k for my black single. They would need 6 recent pictures of the vehicle.
Dnk
My car was insured though LWIB and the underwriter was Markerstudy, it was an agreed value policy and was quite heavily modified I just sent them the mod list along with the parts list the car had and high quality photos. The agreed value isn't what the car is worth to sell but what it would cost to replace
drift_bear
Thanks for the input so far folks, will be checking out the names insurers while I’m “shopping” around. I know similar Big twin set ups have agreed value of £30k so that’s what I was kinda basing mine on
Dnk
When i did mine i added what the mods had cost inc fitting etc i also added what had been spent on new OE Toyota parts
